Hi! Where are you living at the moment & what is it like?
I am currently living in the Bay Area, which is great, but I have my sights on leaving at some point soon.
What have you been doing lately?
Lately I have been working on a project that I can’t say much about yet, while also working on shoots from my mood boards, and collaborating on projects with other talented people. Also have been going back and forth from the Bay Area to Los Angeles.
Favourite time of day to take a photo?
My favourite time to take a photo would have to be when light is harsh. I know a lot of people hate it, but it does something to highlights that I can’t get in other situations.
What draws you to a face?
Eyes. Definitely eyes. It’s the first thing I look at. It’s not necessarily colour. It just has to do with the stare, and if it holds my attention.
What advice would you give to a teenager?
Stay diligent in everything you do and do it with purpose. Be able to take constructive criticism and grow from your losses. Also, enjoy being young because time flies by incredibly fast as you get older.
What do you hope people feel through your photos?
A connection. That could mean something different for different people. I just want to make people feel some sort of connection with my work.
What do you miss & also not miss about you five years ago?
I miss Obama and I don’t miss being in crutches.
If you had to wake up tomorrow and get a tattoo, what would it be?
It would be a tattoo dedicated to Edgar Allan Poe, or maybe another Harry Potter related one.
