The Wombats @ House of Blues

British indie-rock trio, The Wombats, returned to Boston on their 2018 fall headline tour after what felt like a long hiatus. The bands fourth studio album Beautiful People Will Ruin Your Life, released in February has been a huge success, as the production and lyrics are immaculate. It’s a perfect album to make you feel euphoric and nostalgic all at once. Their setlist for the night included a variety of new and old songs, such as “Give Me a Try”, “1996”, “Turn”, “Lemon To a Knife Fight”, “Jump Into the Fog”, and “Let’s Dance to Joy Division”.
