The Struts @ Stone Pony

The Stone Pony is one of the most legendary venues on the East Coast, having hosted rock artists like The Ramones, Blondie, Joan Jett, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Elvis Costello, and Cheap Trick.
Retro rock and roll walks a fine line between inspired and a complete rip off, but The Struts offer a sound wholeheartedly their own. Mixing songs from their debut record Everybody Wants with tracks from their newest record Young&Dangerous, it's clear just how talented these boys are. Each new track they played sounded completely different, yet still rich with The Struts’s signature flair.
Then comes their immense stage presence. Vocalist Luke Spiller is one of the most captivating and entertaining frontmen in the industry at the moment, and the rest of the band follows suit. Each member has their own unique and genuine personality, and their love for performing is always evident and noticeable. Every lyric shouted back at them from the crowd only built their happiness, and that kind of childlike fun is something hard to find in music today.
It’s safe to say The Struts are well on their way to being the next legendary rock and roll band.
