Halloween: the one day where it’s socially acceptable to cover yourself in blood, take candy from strangers, and assume someone else’s identity.

But all jokes aside, Halloween is the one day of the year when we’re allowed to take a step away from the real world. Where we can be the vampire, teenage witch, ghoul, goblin or prom queen that we’ve always wanted to be. So dress up, spoil yourself with candy and cobwebs, and attend one (or many) of the onslaught of costume-clad events sure to take place in the preceding weeks. Or, if you’re like us, just make your brother and best friend have a spooky photo shoot at 3AM.
