We'll Match Your Donations, up to $1500. BLACK. LIVES. MATTER.
Pure Nowhere has put a temporary pause on all creative projects in order to focus on using our platform in solidarity with the black community. Starting today, June 1st, we will be matching any new donations to organizations supporting the Black Lives Matter movement — until we reach a total of $1,500, donated amongst various groups.
Here’s how it works:
1) You pick the charity/organization. This can range anywhere from national aid to local bailout funds — suggestions below.
2) You pick the amount. Anything you are financially able to donate.
3) We’ll match it — the exact amount to the same charity/organization you chose. Just DM (@purenowhere) or EMAIL (hello@purenowhere.com) us a screenshot/receipt/proof of donation.
With this, we hope to push for new donations to continue to be made, and to emphasize that truly anything helps. While we are still amidst a global pandemic, not everyone is able to show up in person — but anyone can (and everyone should) support from afar.
This fight needs to be sustained by our resources, money and energy — today, and every day after.
We’ve included a list of charities/organizations below, with links to their donation portals, to make things as easy as possible on your end. With that said, your donation is (of course) not limited to those shown below — we encourage you to do your own research, and pick the one that resonates with you the most.
We’re lucky enough to have a platform and community as amazing as Pure Nowhere, which means we have a responsibility to use it. To speak up for those who can’t, and fill in the gaps mass media chooses to ignore. Please feel free to reach out to us with content you’d like to see published on the site. Anywhere you feel we are falling short, any information you’d like easily available — we are here.
