The Chain Reaction of Love
Every time I turn on the news or check any mainstream media source, there’s a new shooting or bombing that has occurred out of hatred. The news anchor will casually say, “17 people lost their lives in terrorist attack, death toll still rising.” Their expressions are non-existent. We are so used to seeing this and only thinking about it for merely a few seconds. We don’t think about the lives that these innocent people were living. The sons, daughters, siblings, mothers and fathers that these people were. We have become so acclimated to this hateful epidemic that occurs almost every day, that we don’t seem to think of it or do anything about it.
It’s time for a love revolution!
It’s almost 2017 and we are witnessing people killing each other out of pure hatred, almost daily. We use words to hurt others, purely to justify our own insecurities. All of this disgust must come to an end, now. We must not become silent or turn away in fear. We must stand up and stand together. It’s essential that our voices are heard and are used to positively affect everyone around us. Every word we release into the universe is a reflection of who we are. Every post we create on social media is a reflection of who we are. Every action we commit is a reflection of who we are. Knowing this, how will you change your words to positively affect others and stand up for issues you care about?

Love has no end, so why does it feel like love doesn’t exist in this age? Whatever your religion, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, etc.; we all share one thing in common. We are all human. Set aside our differences and this similarity will always prevail. All humans must come together and love each other, regardless of our differences. This is obviously easier said than done. If we come together and accept our variances, love will strongly outweigh hatred. This will not happen overnight, but every day we can make a change.
Do every single thing you can to love yourself and those around you. Thank your loved ones and let them know how much you truly love them. Deliver compliments to strangers and they might do the same. We can start a chain reaction of love, simply by doing small actions. Those that receive love from you will begin to pass on love, next thing you know, there will be love everywhere! If you produce a hateful comment, the person who receives it will do the same until hatred is everywhere. Love will indefinitely outweigh hatred, as long as we keep spreading it. Do one kind thing for someone today to start the chain reaction of love.
